Obituary

Robert Earl Pell, 80 years, of West Union, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Monarch Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Seaman, Ohio.
Bob was born in Blue Creek, Ohio, on December 6, 1938, the son of the late Harold and Goldie (Taylor) Pell. After serving in the United States Army, Bob worked for DP&L, as well as selling real estate. He was a member of the Bentonville Community Church and the Masonic Lodge #43 in West Union, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane Harper; his two brothers, Eddie Pell and Paul Pell, and a granddaughter. Bob is survived by his wife Shirley (Teegarden) Pell, whom he married on November 24, 1962. He also leaves behind two sons, Mike (Monica) Pell, of West Union; and Ty (Jene) Pell, of Peebles. Bob’s loss will be mourned by his eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the Bentonville Community Church. The ceremony will be officiated by John Greenlee. Burial will follow at the Sandy Springs Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be provided by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday evening, July 26, 2019, at the Bentonville Community Church. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 PM, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Bob’s name at any First State Bank. The family intends to donate memorial donations to the Autism Society.
