Obituary

Cody Slusher, 24 years, of West Union, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019, in Cincinnati.
Cody was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on December 17, 1994, the son of the Harry Slusher, Jr., and Eileen (Cavanaugh) Slusher. Cody worked in construction and was a member of the Laborers International Union Local #265, in Cincinnati.
Cody is survived by his parents; and his son, Will Slusher, of West Union. Cody also leaves behind a brother, Jarrett Slusher, of Cincinnati; a sister, Sharon Brewster, of Kentucky; his paternal grandparents, Harry (Lynn) Slusher, of Unity; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Cavanaugh, of Kentucky.
Funeral services for Cody will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles, Ohio. The ceremony will be officiated by Larry Hoop. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, prior to the funeral service, March 26, 2019, at the funeral home.

So sorry for your family's loss. Cody was a great kid that I got the chance to meet a few years back. The first time I met him he had that long hair! We talked a few different times about cutting it when he did his face was priceless. He could definitely make a person laugh no matter the situation. I do know he loved his family very much. He will be missed dearly. R.I.P buddy!!!
