Lea Jane Foster, 92 years, of Winchester, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at her residence.
Lea Jane was born on January 7, 1927, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of William and Mary (Campbell) Grooms. She was retired from working as a school teacher. A Seaman High School graduate, Lea Jane held a bachelor’s degree from Wilmington College and a master’s degree from Xavier University. She attended the Seaman Presbyterian Church.
Lea Jane was preceded in death by her parents, and by her first husband, Vernon Foster, as well as her second husband, Dean McClellan. She was also preceded by a daughter, Pam Williams, and two brothers, Richard and Roger Grooms
She is survived by a son, Mick (Rhonda) Foster, of Winchester; and a daughter, Beth Ann (Marius) Cost, of California. Lea’s passing will be mourned by her three grandchildren, Cody (Karla) Cost, Corina (Gabe Sendejas) Cost, and LeAron Foster; her great-grandson, Alexander Sendejas; as well as her son-in-law, Gary Williams.
According to Lea Jane’s wishes, she is to be cremated.

I so much appreciated Lea Jane in many ways but especially as my social studies teacher. She was so very organized and made learning a pleasure.
